Jess is a dancer teaching Alex’ little sister. When he sees Jess, jeith “She’s my mate. She thinks he just taking too slow and then that’s he’s not really into her.
There’s some baddies, a used and abused lhnn and the big secret to work through. I’m going to read book 2. Hoping it’s a little better. Jun 28, Mitabird rated it it was ok Shelves: This book wasn’t very good. The writing style was fine and it was an easy read, but I didn’t think any of the characters were fully developed. Alex is a werewolf and meets his mate, Jessica. Jessica is his sister Marissa’s dance teacher.
When she meets Alex for the first time, there is instant attraction, but she has no idea that werewolves exist.
Six months of dating passes and Alex is still trying to find the best way to let Jessica know what’s up. In the meantime, Jessica has noticed that she This book wasn’t very good. In the meantime, Jessica has noticed that she is being followed and has been receiving cryptic calls telling her not to marry Alex.
Does she decide to tell Alex? Nope, because she is used to doing everything herself. Does she tell him after a botched kidnap attempt and she gets injured trying to escape?
Nope, because now he’ll be mad she didn’t say anything in the first place. Jess frustrated me many times during this story. Alex was clueless and didn’t take the proper precautions to protect Jess, IMO. Jess’s reaction to Alex being a werewolf was not realistic and I was expecting some kind of negative emotion. It was no surprise who the bad guy s were and this just added to the overall predictability of this book.
That being said, I’m going to attempt to read the next in the series as I always give an author a two book try. She has a story in the Howl anthology that is part of this series, but if I don’t like the next book, I won’t read that one.

Jeigh Lynn has always excelled with communicating. The term motormouth has been used to describe her more than once. She will talk to anyone, anytime, anywhere. A character trait she inherited from her grandfather and father-neither of them has ever met a stranger- and one she has passed on to her youngest son.
In short, she comes from a long line of motormouths. In school, she always excelled in Jeigh Lynn has always excelled with communicating.
In school, she always excelled in English, so it was no surprise to her mother when she sort of fell into a writing career. In college, she majored in art and still enjoys dabbling. Though now that she has an exceptionally talented niece, she is training a replacement. Through high school, college, and her pre writing years, Jeigh worked as a dance instructor.
After marriage and the birth of her children, Jeigh decided to try her hand at yet another form of communication: To date, Jeigh has several novels and a handful of novellas to her credit.
