I truly enjoyed this book and the storyline that took place in between. I just loved how this story changed as they slowly became aware of each other, not as Miss Hattie and Reed, but as a woman and a man, and the struggles to handle that startling realization.
And, yes, pamdla was spot on. Reed Tyler was a very handsome hardworking honorable man who had big dreams of owning his own hatte.

She manages to write books with romantic hattiw and dubious characters who end up surprising us with their graciousness. Some farming stuff went over my head, but the romance and sexual tension was perfect. It is a most memorable scene because of their innocence and it is both funny and touching. No one can’t be that ugly that a man like that fourting see something to admire in the chit.
My first by this author and I loved it! Hattie felt as if someone had reached inside her breast, grabbed her heart, and twisted it out of her body, only to discard it in the slop bucket.
The secondary characters are well written, interesting without taking the focus off Hattie and Reed. There are no true villains besides weather and fate in a Pamela Morsi novel.
I have many favorite scenes in this book. Love on the Prairie. So, I keep rereading this book. He doesn’t think Ancyl is good enough for her, as a man or as a farmer.
I want the land and I’m willing to buy it, just like always. The love story was sweet and I was glad that Miss Hattie found love Then they suddenly realize what a fun toy it is and how much they want it, decide that, “hey, that’s mine” and don’t want to share.
I was so happy when they could finally be together and once Hattie let her hair down, both figuratively and literally, she led Reed on such a wild ride. He was her friend and sharecropper.
