Art gallery owner Brynn Meyers has no idea that her ability to read memories embedded in objects and drain people of their life force means she has demon ancestry. Unfortunately for Brynn, she’s also the key to raising an ancient zombie army, which puts her on every demon’s Most Wanted List. And no one wants her more than Keegan’s father. Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary, but he’ll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics—the far deadlier, demmon half—when he starts to fall for the one woman standing between him and the vengeance he so desperately seeks.

Lists with This Book. The first in this series featuring half demon brothers who struggle to do the right thing. In this book we see the eldest brother Rosaliie trying to protect Brynn who isn’t quite as ordinary as she thinks from his own father no less! Keegans father has spent countless resources searching for a magic book boood can resurrect the dead but only one of a certain bloodline can recite the necessary spell.

Yes you’ve guessed it Brynn teh the last of her line but she has no idea just what she’s about to get caught up in! I was just in the mood for a paranormal romance and this book hit the spot quite nicely. It’s an interesting plot with great characters to flesh it out. Not only do we get four brothers who are half demon but their unique ‘other’ sides make them really stand out. Add in the fact that Brynn isn’t the sort of heroine to allow herself to get pushed about and it sets up quite nicely for all the action that’s to follow.
The romance just builds up and when all holds are off then this hot demon certainly lives up to the hype! Plus with three more brothers and a very interesting friend waiting in the wings it’s very obvious that this author has a hit series on her hands.
I’d like laro bit more world building if honest but would certainly recommend this to those like myself who enjoy paranormal romance Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review View all 4 comments. I LOVE this book. I have one minor gripe though, hence the 4.

Though I totally love these two as individuals, and they did have some touching, hot moments together, I just couldn’t fully get behind Solid 4.
Though I totally love these two as individuals, and they did have some touching, hot moments together, I just couldn’t fully get behind them as a couple. I can’t put my finger on it. But it was just something about these two that didn’t completely blow my mind together.
Blood of the Demon (Demons of Infernum, #1) by Rosalie Lario
They showed promise at the beginning and even had a few flashes of hope for me as the story progressed. But in the end they just couldn’t completely close the deal for me as a couple.
But I love them. I also fell in love with this world. The execution of it was flawless, IMO. The other brothers, I totally love as well. I hope this is a series that only deemon better with each book.
This was certainly a beyond promising, just awesome intro to this series. Though there is a continuation of the plot, there is no cliffhanger in this book. And there is an HEA for the main couple. This Kindle Freebie seems to be a hit or miss with readers, but it’s free and it sounds good!! Brynn Meyers is a not so ordinary woman with a small art gallery in New Fhe City. When a handsome man comes into the the shop just before closing, her female interest is peaked. That is until he plants a fiver upside her jaw. They’ve been sent to Earth to keep Brynn from starting the apocalypse. Kind of an auspicious beginning for a passionate love story, huh?
This book begs the question, could Brynn Meyers is a not so ordinary woman with a small art gallery in New York City. This book begs the question, could this be the next great series down the pike.
I think it could. I just loved everything about it. The heroine, no simpering miss here. The hero, super hot and of course damaged, so he has that whole brooding, I need cuddling thing going on, plus the brothers Now, I’ll freely admit, I’m picky about sexual content fitting the story. I personally think hot demons should have HOT sex. oario
Well, do you see the five star rating? Great all around book that I highly recommend. Aug 17, Kristen rated it really liked it Shelves: Blood of the Demon I felt had a little bit of everything, with a variety of paranormal beings, romance, action and holding your breath moments.
Book Review of Blood of the Demon by Rosalie Lario
Rosalie Lario roslaie four prominent male characters as her leads and each 3. Rosalie Lario has four prominent male characters as her leads and each have different powers and past that I can tell will have their own story. I enjoy series that introduce the characters, which will lead you into each book, thus making me excited for the next in the Demons of Infernum Series.
This story follows a woman named Brynn who discovers that her heritage is connected to a very power book. Which brings bounty hunters sent by their council to capture her before a darker evil does, this evil wants to take over earth.
The bounty hunters are four brothers who are each half demon and half something else unique. Brynn was the typical tough female, who falls into a world that she never thought existed.
Review – Blood of the Demon by Rosalie Lario
I felt that she took in the idea of demons, fae, zombies and so on a little too easily but otherwise she was a great lead. She is special not only because of her heritage but also she holds a unique power. I loved his personality, his relationship and protectiveness of not only Brynn but also his brothers. The chemistry with Brynn was hot and made me blush through most of the pages.
Lario really knows how to make the reader squirm in her seat with the passion that her two leads shared. Overall a good start to a new series, Lario writes and great plot that I felt held a lot of depth for the future books. The strongest parts in the story was the relationship with the brothers. I enjoyed their bickering moments, the bonds each had, and the wide range of entertaining personalities. The main issue I had was Keegan fighting for his feelings about Brynn, it was dragged on a little too long for my liking.
But none the less this is a great recommendation for paranormal romance fans. This is an adult book with lots of sexual content, which means make sure you have a fan cause these pages get hot.
This is the case where I almost think I should just paste my notes that I took while I was reading the book.
Alas, I will not and will actually make an attempt at a comprehensive review. If I could describe this book I would say it’s a sub-par young adult book with sex thrown in. Honestly, in my personal opinion, the writing of this book was not 2. Honestly, in my personal opinion, the writing of this book was not good. The dialogue between the characters was cheesy and stiff. I struggled with even giving this book 2. Where Lario seems to shine and I say shine in comparison with the rest of the book, so keep that in mind is in writing the steamy scenes.
Those scenes were not quite as difficult to get through. Maybe because they weren’t really talking so much All of that aside, what I couldn’t get past, because really- this book was not self-published and someone should have edited it better, was this little gem.
