The switching frequency is adjustable from 2 to 16 kHz. Above 4 kHz, the drive will reduce the switching frequency in the event of excessive temperature rise. The temperature rise is controlled by a sensor in the power module. Nonetheless, the nominal drive current should be derated if operation above 4 kHz needs to be continuous.
